JOB SUMMARY: The Regional Sales Associate (RSA) is a lead generation and prospecting role within the sales organization, currently with location availability in various US locations. This role RSA plays a key role in generating new business and building relationships with our customers and/or potential customers. The RSA will be responsible for tactical day-to-day responsibilities and significant project assignments as assigned by the Vice President, Regional Sales (RVP) and/or Director, Regional Sales (RSD).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The RSA will provide sales support to the assigned RVP and/or RSD. This support includes (but is not limited to) the following:

Supports efforts throughout entire sales and customer relationship cycle, including:

Salesforce.com opportunity administrationDeal sheet assistance (where applicable)Contract information sheet generationSales engineering requests

Communicates extensively with prospective customers regarding Textron Aviation products and servicesRepresents the sales zone in conjunction with or in lieu of the RSDIdentifies opportunities to develop and increase Textron Aviation business through spanet analysis and continuous dialogue with sales personnel and customersReports significant trends to sales management and recommends specific actions as appropriateProvides detailed product presentations and coordinates with other departments on matters relating to spaneting materials, pricing and product demandIdentifies and generates sales leads through various means of contacting concept customers and in partnership with the lead generation team in WichitaCoordinates and hosts customer visits, tours, demonstration flights and represents Textron Aviation at trade shows and events as assignedRemains current with aviation industry and financial spanet news to maintain an awareness of issues likely to impact customers and potential customersContinuously researches spanet within the identified territory to identify prospective customers

Qualifications

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors degree required in:

BusinessSalesMarketingAviation ManagementRelated field

  • Aviation industry experience preferred QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior sales and/or spaneting experience preferredSound business acumenExcellent communication skills (written and oral)Professional appearance and demeanorMotivated and self-directed to deliver high quality resultsStrong analytical, financial and computer skillsTeam player with strong interpersonal skillsMobile and willing to travelMust have a valid drivers license
