Job Description:

Purpose:

As a Completion and Refurbishment Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading sales efforts in North America, South America, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia. Your primary focus will be on selling maintenance and refurbishment services to narrow and wide-body aircraft customers. Additionally, you will work to build and establish a client base in the Large Cabin Category segment from North and South America and Eastern Europe.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to promote VVIP completion, maintenance, and refurbishment services to narrow and wide-body aircraft customers, with a primary focus on the Lake Charles, LA facility.
  • Identify and engage potential clients in North America, South America, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia, and cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to create targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and events to drive sales and increase brand awareness in the designated regions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their unique needs, and presenting tailored solutions that showcase the capabilities and expertise of our facility.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential threats in the market.
  • Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and progress to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintains the Citadel culture of excellence and exceptional customer experience standard.
  • Facilitates a positive relationship with the Design team and Client. 
  • Manages multiple priorities and competing tasks.

 

Minimum Qualifications or Experience:

  • Bachelor&39;s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • Proven track record of successful sales and business development in the aviation industry, specifically with VVIP completion, maintenance, or refurbishment services.
  • Strong understanding of the VVIP aviation market in North America, South America, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia, with an established network of contacts and clients in the industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, as well as the resilience to overcome challenges and objections.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent the company in various forums.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant sales and reporting tools.
 Preferred Qualifications or Experience:
  • Masters’ Degree.
  • Project management certification.
  • Experience in VVIP aircraft completions and refurbishment.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.

Travel:

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel is to be expected for business industry work, events and occasional business networking and negotiation meetings. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m.  This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
