Qualifications
To qualify for this position, ALL applicants MUST meet the following criteria:
(1) have a JD Degree from an accredited law school; and
- (2) be admitted to practice before the bar of any U.S. jurisdiction or within the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; and
(3) be an active member of that bar; and
(4) at least one full year of specialized experience in the work performed at the next lower grade level (FV-J/K or GS-14/15) for this occupational series. The specialized experience for this position is defined as:
- Experience providing legal counsel and advice on regulatory law matters;and
- Experience directing and managing legal policy documents, plans, programs, policies, or projects to advise and counsel executives, senior managers or senior policy makers in a legal or professional environment.
