Position Summary
The Parker Hannifin location in Huntsville, AL (1005 A Cleaner Way, Huntsville 35805) is currently seeking CNC Machinists to work 2nd shift. Starting pay depends upon skills and experience. Shift premium is $2.00/hour.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Set-up and operate CNC machines
Understand CNC programs
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Use precision measuring instruments
Apply machine shop mathematics
Work as a member of a TEAM
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Work Conditions:
Standing for 8-10 hours per day; frequent reaching, grasping and lifting up to 25 lbs.; occasional walking; working in and around oil and solvent.
Qualifications
Required Testing:
Verbal skills test and interview will be conducted to determine qualifications.
Note:
Trade school, a mechanical background or experience operating CNC machines is preferred.
