We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Developer to join our team. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills working on diverse architectures - from cloud-native AWS microservices to mission-critical monolithic applications for the aviation industry. As a member of our team, you will actively participate in the software development lifecycle. Your primary focus will be on coding, implementing features, and contributing to test automation, while also being involved in design discussions, code reviews, and deployment processes. Teams are responsible for specific services or products. Our solutions help airlines manage safe and high-performance flight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain .NET (C) applications, ranging from cloud-native microservices hosted on AWS to monolithic architectures designed for local environments.
Actively participate in implementing various types of tests, including unit, component, and functional tests, to help ensure software reliability
Work collaboratively within a small agile team to deliver new features and fix defects, drive improvements.
Contribute to code quality by applying coding best practices, learning about test-first mindsets, and following security standards.
Assist in building and improving development processes.
Support software architecture discussions and learn to translate system-level designs into robust, maintainable, and high-quality code, following best practices in software engineering
Required Skills/Experience:
3&43; years of professional experience in software development
Recent experience developing software with .NET or .NET Framework, C, and AWS (or other cloud service providers)
Experience writing unit tests, component testing (functional & non-functional) or system integration testing
Applying best practices to keep code maintainable
Hands on experience with ASP.NET Web API
Experience working with databases and understanding of Entity Framework
Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), containerization with Docker, and monitoring/logging tools
Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering or a related field
Good spoken and written English skills
Nice-to-Haves:
Hands-on experience with Python in testing area
Hands-on experience with RESTful/SOAP API design, development, optimization, testing, and security
Expertise in implementation of automated functional tests using Python
Understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies, including unit testing, component testing, and integration testing (covering functional and non-functional aspects). Demonstrable knowledge of ISTQB best practices. ISTQB certification is a strong asset
Strong capability in identifying technical challenges and bottlenecks, constructively proposing and implementing effective solutions, while actively building team engagement and fostering a positive atmosphere
Experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
Understanding of ASP .NET MVC and ASP .NET Web pages
Working knowledge of JavaScript
Basic understanding of airline operations, flight planning, or air navigation principles
Passion for the aviation industry
