Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance cameras and equipment
- Access control systems, fire alarms, intrusion detection systems and other protective equipment/systems
- Monitor and log radio transmissions using call signs
- Answer the telephone, take messages
- Maintain Duty Log in legible manner
- Dispatch and/or notify Security Guards of all unusual activity
- Report and document same, summon resources and coordinate emergency personnel responding to emergencies and document same
Qualifications
- Must be US Citizen
- All personnel must be able to pass a favorably single scope background investigation (SSBI) prior to commencing work
- All Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Be in possession of a valid Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess either a high school diploma or a GED equivalency certificate
- Be able to speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English
- Be in possession of a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle in his/her state of residence
