Pay Rate: $42.89 – $47.65 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a dynamic Employee Development Specialist to lead training and development efforts for aerospace manufacturing teams in Salt Lake City and West Jordan. Your expertise will directly shape the skills and success of our workforce—fueling innovation and quality in every aircraft we build.
What You’ll DoAs an Employee Development Specialist, you will:
- Lead advanced group instruction sessions using Lean principles and aerospace Production System tools.
- Deliver training in composite layup, fabrication, system installation, and production certifications.
- Conduct assessments of shop floor practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze performance data and provide actionable feedback to teams.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop training strategies and success metrics.
- Facilitate learning in both classroom and hands-on environments.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to drive training excellence.
What You BringRequired:
- Strong background in Fabrication, Assembly, and/or Quality Systems.
- Experience in composite layup, fabrication, or aerospace manufacturing.
- Ability to lead training sessions and assess performance effectively.
- Flexibility to support variable shifts and multiple locations.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with aerospace Production Systems and Lean manufacturing.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or instructional design.
- Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards in aerospace.

Pay Details: $42.89 to $47.65 per hour
