About the role

In this role, you will be providing administration support for smooth function to carry the transport and logistic daily task on a daily basis. Handle the reports that Discover Qatar — Transport and logistic team represent. Promote the high standards of Qatar Airways values through correspondence and personal interaction. Liaise with internal Discover Qatar departments for arranging the logistics of resources to deliver Discover Qatar products and services, dispatching and assigning internal and suppliers’ resources.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

• Perform diversified and administrative support and handle a variety of situations and tasks involving the clerical and administrative functions of Discover Qatar and transport and logistic team.
• Record all service bookings in the logistics services dashboard using the Tableau manifest system, including direct data entry of service details.
• Respond to emails and service-related communications within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Assign services to DQ vehicle fleet and coordinate with suppliers accordingly.
• Validate service details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct daily follow-ups with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Optimize the utilization of DQ vehicle fleet to enhance efficiency and resource management.
• Adjust drivers’ rosters to align with daily operational requirements and communicate revised shift timings to drivers.
• Produce guest name signages for services assigned to the DQ vehicle fleet.

About you

• High School or equivalent with minimum of 2 years of job-related experience
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent command of English language
• Preferably have a transportation/logistics background
