As part of the Cabin Crew recruitment team, your role will lead and deliver a comprehensive recruitment experience for the Emirates Group – from sourcing to hiring – ensuring candidates align with our values. You will achieve consistent, quality outcomes through strategic recruitment methodologies while maintaining the integrity of our process during this exciting time of transformational change.
In this role you will:
Understand workforce needs and translate departmental objectives
Promote Emirates Group as the employer of choice locally and globally
Collaborate with the Corporate Communication Brand team to implement spaneting strategies across social media channels like TikTok, Instagram and job boards
Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including HR departments, executive search firms and agencies, ensuring high standards of candidate service
Conduct regional audits on assessment days, providing insights for improvement and driving regional talent engagement strategies
Offer expert guidance on regional spanet trends and recommend new approaches to talent engagement and assessment
Lead engagement with local industries such as hospitality, airport, travel, leisure and retail. Coordinate career events and foster relationships with recruitment agencies, hospitality schools and other partners relevant to cabin crew recruitment
Provide management with data insights on offers declined, salary comparisons and recruitment challenges, recommending solutions to attract candidates
Agree with hiring managers on the best recruitment channels such as IVNs, job boards, career portals and LinkedIn to advertise vacancies and attract global talent
Design and implement recruitment and selection methodologies with the Business Psychologist team to identify candidates’ technical and cultural fit. Guide hiring managers in interpreting behavioural evidence and influencing selection decisions
QualificationTo be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
Degree and 5 years’ experience or 12 years’ schooling or equivalent and 8 years’ experience in recruitment, either as an in-house or agency recruiter
CIPD or any other HR professional certification is desirable
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a leadership role, with relevant experience managing a remote team and high-volume processes
Must be able to travel to cover recruitment campaigns
Demonstrable ability to coach, develop and promote high performance within a complex remote environment
In-depth understanding of regional best practices and recruitment trends within your chosen region, with demonstrable experience in driving performance improvement
Familiarity with nurturing strategic relationships and managing events with local partnership organisations (e.g. hospitality schools and recruitment agencies)
Experience with various selection processes: digital assessments, video interviewing, telephone interviewing and reference checks
Ability to conduct interviews using a behavioural competency framework
Ability to organise skills assessment centres, in-tray activities, work samples and presentation topics
Familiarity with HR databases, ATS systems and CMS systems
Experience working for a recruitment solution, ideally within a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) environment, in-house or agency recruiter is preferable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English
Additional languages are desirable
