Primary Job Duties
We are seeking driven, dedicated, and professional aviation candidates who possess a diverse range of managerial, relationship, and customer service skills.
- Maintain compliance with all governing rules and regulations regarding safety and security in the airline industry
- Maintain the development of Ramp/Station Operations leadership teams with emphasis on consistency, mentorship, and overall cohesiveness in support of department employees and operation as a whole
- Lead by example to promote SkyWest Guiding Principals
- Promote awareness and local initiatives that support established partner and company policies, prioritizing the maintenance of a culture focusing on safety and operational performance
- Maintain effective communication and develop strong relationships with all SkyWest departments, stations, Flying Partners, vendors, and associated agencies
- Guarantee compliance with all SkyWest, partner, and regulatory operating standards and procedures
- Understand and uphold SkyWest and Flying Partner’s performance expectations
- Oversee and maintain budgets, shift bids, internal and external performance goals, and inventory control
- Organize and coordinate staff meetings and briefings; attend internal and external stakeholder meetings
- Conduct and oversee employee evaluations
- Travel to necessary training and meetings
