Position Summary
The Site Quality Manager will be reporting to the Plant Manager and be accountable for management and leadership of the Quality Department with all its related activities. The Site Quality Manager is also responsible to drive the site quality strategy and performance, ensure compliance with authorities and customers. Finally, the Site Quality Manager is accountable for the implementation of the Zero Defect Strategy across the whole site. Should add responsibility for monthly reporting to Division Quality
Role Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Objectives (10)
Provide the quality vision and leadership for the site by establishing site quality objectives and linking those objectives to company and division objectives
Define overall site quality strategy, establish strategic implementation plan and drive all related initiatives
Compliance (20)
Develop, establish and maintain quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and controls ensuring that performance and quality of products conform to established company, regulatory as well as customer standards
Improve and maintains quality program across the entire value chain, design-source-make-deliver, involving methods, tools, devise and controls
Maintain compliance with EN9100, ISO9001, Part 145, Part 21G, Parker Meggitt policies, Parker directives and effectiveness of the Quality Management System
Authorities & Customers interface (20)
Represent the business/site to outside regulatory bodies and customers with regards to quality matters
Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting governmental regulation, agency guidelines, customer guidelines and internal policies to assure compliance and drive implementation for the site
Manage quality assurance by ensuring a robust internal and supplier audit plan and adherance that meets EN9100 requirements and responsible for all regulatory compliance issues
Serves as the quality single point of contact, externally for the customer and internally for the program
Quality governance (20)
Determine and establish assigned quality organizational structure and supervisor relationships. Coach, develop and mentor employees
Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure implementation of quality program such as the Zero Defect Program, as well as achievement of standards and regulations
Implement and lead Quality Team Improvement Board
Report to Plant Manager and Division Quality Manager about Quality performance and progress on strategic implementation plan
Ensure the following KPI’s are created and maintained; SRPPM, RPPM, IPMLS, NC closure rate, COQ.
Management tasks & Financial responsibility (30)
Manage the Quality – Calibration department: team management, recruitment activities, definition of development and succession plans
Functional responsible for all people involved in control operation
Define and provide necessary training or development actions to his team and site teams in order to implement standards, methods and tools to improve quality culture
Define and manage Quality budget
CAPEX expenditures, quotation and order acknowledgement in accordance with Parker Meggitt definition of signature rights recorded in the authority matrix
- Manage directly the Quality Operations team (Production, Supply Chain, Calibration)
Travel and/or Driving Requirements
- Travel is an essential duty and function of this job. Driving is not an essential duty or function of this job.

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required): Bachelors Degree or Engineering degree
Field of Study/Area of Experience
Good knowledge of quality methods and tools (Lean, 6Sigma, 8D, 5W, etc.), norms and regulations (ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP).
A significant experience within the industry field and at least 5 years’ experience in aviation (EASA regulations, P21G & 145).

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
