Job Description:

AGL seeks a quality assurance manager for a case management services contract who ensures the processes are efficient, effective, and adhere to established quality standards. This involves monitoring performance, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance program quality while optimizing resource utilization within the case management program. Actively collaborate with the Business Process Engineer to eliminate non-value add activities while standardizing, and optimizing processes.


Responsibilities

  • Manages the quality assurance and control program – develop inspection checklists, develop audit schedules, validate work instructions and SOPs perPWS requirements, track and submit all required CDRLs.
  • Generate, deliver, implement & sustain a Quality Control Plan compliant to AS9100.
  • Provide monthly Quality Assurance Internal Audit Report and trend analysis.
  • Take immediate remedial and corrective actions for all non-conformances identified during audit surveillance.
  • Generate Corrective Action Reports and implement Root Cause Analysis as required.
  • Manage customer satisfaction program: respond to customer complaints, conduct customer follow-up on work performed, track programs statistics.
  • Subject matter expert on quality management concerns: track USG QASP, meet with QAEs and COR, track all non-conformances and corrective action plans.
  • Develop metrics to track contract performance.
  • Utilize knowledge of FAA Policies and Procedures, OSHA requirements, to ensure work is completed to standard and employees are working safely.
  • Inspect subcontractor and vendor performance per PWS, CDRL, Government and company policies and regulations.
  • Other operational duties as assigned to include but not limited to the following:
    • Serve as secondary point of contact between the company and the government for all contract performance and quality matters.
    • Support accomplishment of contract objectives, planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects of each specific contract section.
    • Work closely with management to make sure that the scope and direction of the contract is on schedule, and in conformance with the contract requirements.
    • Secondarily accountable for and response of non-conformance reports
    • Secondarily accountable for legal compliance of contracting activities including relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
    • Support the development of Investigation reports to the U.S. Government after major breakdowns incurring or threatening over 24 hours shutdown of operations; losses with the potential for extended and sustained (over 24 hours) negative media attention; Legal violations, etc.).
  • Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein but which are logically and properly inherent to the position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in, business administration, engineering, project management or related field. Certified Quality Manager
  • Must have at least 5-7 years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance surveillance experience in execution of a service-related and or case management industry.
  • Possess ASQ Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification or able to obtain within nine (9) mos of hire.
  • Experience in writing and executing Quality Surveillance Plan and schedules.
  • Able to read and interpret contractual documents and work statements.
  • Ability to develop presentations and reports on quality control activities.
  • Strong organization skills.
