Morson are currently recruiting for a Project Management Business Partner to support the delivery of CAPEX, construction, and infrastructure projects within a complex engineering environment.
This role will work closely with the Project Lead and multi-functional teams to ensure successful delivery from project inception through to completion.
Location: Broughton (full time onsite)
Rate: 39.04 per hour Umbrella or 29.18 per hour PAYE
Duration: 12-month contract (likely extension)
Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5 day week)
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of CAPEX and construction projects from feasibility through to handover
- Establish and maintain project governance and reporting structures
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and milestones
- Support budget management, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities
- Engage and manage stakeholders across all levels
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and design teams
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards
- Produce clear reporting, documentation, and project updates
Requirements
- Strong experience in project management (3–5+ years)
- Background in construction, infrastructure, or CAPEX projects
- Experience with stakeholder management and project coordination
- Knowledge of project governance, risk, and budget management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency with MS Project, SharePoint, or similar tools
Desirable
- Experience in regulated or engineering environments
- Exposure to large-scale site or facilities projects
