Responsibilities:
Lead the daily operations of the Heavy Maintenance Planning group, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
Design and oversee training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities within the team.
Undertake budgeting responsibilities for heavy maintenance activities and drive efforts to improve budgetary performance.
Travel to Heavy Maintenance Facilities as organizational needs dictate.
Develop and manage KPIs, monitoring performance across heavy maintenance and aircraft allocation areas.
Collaborate with multiple teams to manage transitions during aircraft inductions and retirements seamlessly.
Plan, manage, and communicate maintenance allocations to pertinent departments.
Ensure timely, accurate production of all necessary reports related to heavy maintenance planning.
Enforce compliance with established policies and procedural guidelines within the planning group.
Develop and refine annual and 5-year heavy maintenance plans using approved optimization software.
Maintain technical and company manuals utilized by the planning group.
Establish and audit the maintenance program to ensure compliance at designated intervals.
Lead reviews for MRO’s pre-induction and post-check processes.
Formulate optimal task yields based on operational demands and variables.
Keep work instructions current and propose new procedures to boost departmental performance.
Engage with Companys Security and Safety Management Systems, overseeing risk management and assurance outputs.
Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years in maintenance planning.
Proficiency in aircraft inspections and maintenance programming.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Ability to secure a valid passport upon being hired.
Proficient in English (spoken, read, written).
Authorization to work in the U.S if hired.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in engineering, aviation, business administration, or related fields.
At least 2 years in heavy maintenance planning.
Knowledge specific to CRJ Maintenance.
Possession of an A&P License.
