About the Role
Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our transformation journey as Manager HR Change and Communication. This role’s primary objective is to deliver effective communication strategies and seamless organization change as part of the HR transformation program. Responsible to architect and execute holistic change and communication frameworks to deliver impactful change solutions across HR Division and Qatar Airways Group. Work with HR Strategy, Transformation & Digital, Employee Experience and HR Leadership to drive faster adoption, ultimate utilization and proficiency with systems, processes and technological changes that impact employees. The role will also support standard change efforts and initiatives across the group using proven change management strategies, tools and templates. Focus on and drive people side of change, including changes to business process, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the change and communication strategy and plan for HR transformation initiatives including HCM/ERP implementation across the HR and Group.
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive change management strategy tailored to QR, aligning with the HR transformation roadmap and the HCM implementation timeline, and considering regulatory requirements, operational requirements and stakeholder expectations.
- Design, coordinate and deliver interventions and tailored training programs for different user groups (e.g., ground staff, finance, procurement & HR) to ensure proficient adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working
- Develop human-centered strategies for change that are agile, and ready for the digital world.
- Work with HR Strategy, Transformation and Digital team to identify scope, plan interventions, deploy, monitor and control the deliverables of change management plan.
- Apply change management principles, processes and tools to develop and implement Change Management strategy and programs for large projects in line with the Change Needs Analysis and identified requirements that maximize employee adoption.
- Conduct impact assessment, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders and sponsors. Conduct Stakeholders interviews, analyze the results and define the action plan to achieve desirable results.
- Deploy proven & customized change management processes and tools to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
- Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications by creating custom communication plans to enable the business to build awareness and desire early in the project.
- Adopt and implement a wide variety of offline, high-touch and digital communication activities and tactics, such as town halls, leadership meetings, presentations, talking points, leadership messages, video content, web content, announcements, intranet content, and newsletters etc.
- Work with business and project team to identify training strategy, courses, training efforts, training schedule and set up the coordination between business, IT and vendor teams
- Communicate project performance via status reports and updates to senior leaders in the company as required ensuring all are aware of project scope and progress. Create, track and manage change enablement, communication delivery budgets and track expenses.
- Create business cases and maintain high ROI to warrant investments in deployment of change requirements
- Monitor & evaluate adherence to Project charters, SLAs, Contractual obligations etc.
- Manages stakeholders & partnerships internally across HR and other departments (e.g., IT, Finance, Procurement etc.) to co-create change plans and ensure cohesive, timely, seamless and effective change enablement and communications
- Work with external vendors as necessary (e.g. best practice organizations, consultants, vendors) to ensure project milestones, delivery and output follow Qatar Airways methodology and principles
- Responsible to establish, manage and govern the change management framework (including policies, tools, processes, programs and forums).
- Develop and execute the change management plans including stakeholder engagement, analysis, and communication plans and training approach in collaboration with the project team.
- Setup, maintain and continuously engage the Change Champion network
- Facilitate Continuous Improvement process and support the business in maximizing buy-in, adoption, and sustainment of new and future state ways of working.
- Develop and implement the change management and training approach in collaboration with the project team
- Identify and manage change management risks and issues, and analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics. Recognize and manage anticipated resistance.
- Lead Change and Communications team to develop effective communication products using appropriate communication medium and message senders
- Work with relevant teams to ensure business readiness plan is agreed and manage progress against that plan to ensure successful go live.
