We are looking for a IT Portfolio and Vendor Manager to deliver extraordinary experiences for our customers.

This role is ideal for a strategic, analytical, collaborative individual who understands how to lead and govern end-to-end IT portfolio and vendor management capabilities within the CIO Office, ensuring alignment with business priorities, financial discipline, and operational execution. This position owns the integration and evolution of Portfolio Management (PMO) and Vendor Management (VMO) practices to enable data-driven decision-making, effective prioritization, and value realization across all IT initiatives and suppliers, while acting as the single point of accountability for portfolio visibility, governance, and performance to support executive decision-making and cross-functional alignment with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Business stakeholders.


Educational requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 10–12 years of equivalent professional experience in IT portfolio management, project management, vendor management, or related disciplines.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Agile certification and/or certifications in related project management disciplines.


Experience:

  • Proven experience managing complex IT portfolios, including demand intake, prioritization, portfolio planning, execution oversight, investment tracking, benefits realization, and strategic alignment.
  • Experience defining, governing, and continuously evolving IT Portfolio and Vendor Management strategies aligned with CIO priorities and enterprise objectives.
  • Strong background leading PMO frameworks, including governance of project and portfolio management standards across IT initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of portfolio data to enable reliable reporting, executive dashboards, portfolio review forums, and steering committees.
  • Strong experience leading Vendor Management Office practices across the full supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, renewals, exits, contracts, KPIs, SLAs, and service accountability.
  • Proven ability to identify cost optimization, vendor consolidation, and service reuse opportunities across IT organizations.
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, business case evaluation, investment tracking, and coordination with Finance.
  • Experience partnering with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Audit, Business stakeholders, and senior leadership to align contracts, regulatory requirements, risks, vendor strategies, and IT investment decisions.
  • Experience supporting strategic vendor negotiations and renewals aligned with IT and business priorities.
  • Hands-on experience with portfolio, project, and reporting tools such as PlanView, Jira, Power BI, or similar platforms.

  • Strategic thinking to define and evolve IT Portfolio and Vendor Management practices aligned with enterprise priorities.
  • Strong governance mindset to operate demand intake, prioritization, portfolio planning, vendor reviews, and executive decision-making forums.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills to consolidate reliable information, assess trade-offs, and enable portfolio visibility and performance management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive advisory skills to support the CIO, IT leadership, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Business stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance business value, resource capacity, financial constraints, vendor risk, and operational execution.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to drive transparency on progress, risks, dependencies, vendor performance, and strategic alignment.
  • Leadership skills to integrate PMO and VMO capabilities and promote consistent adoption of standards across IT initiatives and suppliers.
  • Financial discipline and negotiation support skills to contribute to cost efficiency, sourcing decisions, contract alignment, and vendor accountability.
