As Data Capability Manager you will lead the development and implementation of the data and analytics strategy for dnata, leveraging group expertise to enable business readiness for adoption of new capabilities. This is a full-time role and is based in our Dubai office.
In this role, you will:
- Document the data and analytics strategy and operating model for dnata, collaborating with business leaders to ensure relevant application and effective implementation in each division.
- Lead on relationship with Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) and business stakeholders to define the objectives for data capability enhancement across and within dnata.
- Lead the data and analytics community of practitioners across dnata, including corporate prioritisation of data projects and delivery tracking.
- Accountable for identification and delivery of relevant use cases in conjunction with business leaders, including future opportunities related to artificial intelligence, machine learning and autonomy.
- Develop a plan for data architecture, applications and governance to enable delivery of the dnata global operating model; leverage group expertise for delivery and coordinate programme management.
- Responsible for the creation and production of the dnata corporate scorecard.
QualificationTo be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Honors in Data science, Computer science or Statistics related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or related field in a large organisation.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a management role with ability to lead cross-functional teams and virtual teams within a global organisation.
- Experience leading data communities of practice and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Operating proficiency with enterprise-level data platforms and cloud-based analytics ecosystems (including Microsoft Azure, Snowflake).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with an ability to translate complex technical language to simple business language.

- Professional certifications in a related field (data governance, data architecture, data analytics)
