Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct and plan the work of mechanics by coordinating with Program Manager and Maintenance Leads
- Assist other team members in performing all repairs, replacements, etc. on all aircraft systems, airframes, or engines in a safe and expeditious manner and within FAA, and or manufacturer’s specifications.

- Assist team leaders and shop foreman in finding unsafe or potential problems to customer’s aircraft.
- Report errors and do repair as needed.
- Become familiar with all technical publications (maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, etc.) concerning aircraft maintained at this facility.
- Own and maintain basic hand tools and test equipment to perform assigned tasks.
- Work and communicate closely with other shop and office personnel to assure smooth transition of all customer aircraft.
- Become familiar and proficient with all shop test and maintenance gear.
- Maintain a professional demeanor towards all customers, be courteous, informative and sincere.
- Maintain a clean and neat work area. Help with other housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Provide backup to line personnel when they are moving aircraft in and out of the hangers.
- Other activities and projects as approved by the Program Manager.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Education to meet licenses required (see below),
- 5 years in aircraft maintenance required.
- Must possess and maintain a current and valid drivers license.
- Must meet the requirements of Airport Authority to be receive a badge and have no ramp restrictions.
Communication Skills:
- Must be able to read and speak English.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with other personnel.
Mathematical Skills:
Basic math skills.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Budget Responsibility:
Assist department managers in maintaining a specified budget.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- A & P License required;
- Inspection Authorization License preferred.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer aptitude required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Occasional periods of walking, sitting, rotation, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, and frequently lifting up to 10 lbs.

- Frequent exposure to general shop conditions, engine noise.
