JD – Asst. Manager, ESG & Sustainability at IndiGo Airlines

Requirements:

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree preferably in Environmental Science, Engineering or any equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate ESG & Sustainability
• Knowledge and experience in global ESG & Sustainability Standards and frameworks: such as BRSR, GRI, SASB, SBTi, UN-SDG, CDP, TCFD, and others
• Experience in designing & implementation of ESG KPIs, goals & targets and projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Providing ESG performance insights to the management
• Leading ESG projects, developing and implementing environmental and Social Action Plans and KPIs that will drive the business to deliver continuous improvement in ESG performance.
• Publishing annual ESG reports on Indian & Global standards and frameworks as per internal strategy.
• Working closely with External consultants and Auditors on advisory and audit related processes.
• Understanding ESG Ratings criteria and implement the requirements into the organization. Working closely with investor relations to develop and articulates its ESG performance and requirements.
• Establish & lead a cross function team for effective reporting of ESG metrices
• Assessing and managing ESG risks and opportunities across the Company portfolio
• Improving existing ESG policies, data collection & reporting processes
• Contributing to the analysis of emerging ESG trends and regulations
• Identify and support implementation of GHG reduction projects in the areas of Energy, Waste, Water etc.
• Knowledge & experience in GHG emission accounting for Scope 1, 2 & 3 as per GHG Protocol and other applicable standards.
