Job Title: Mechanic

Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in servicing and repairing a variety of ground support vehicles and equipment, including tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans. This role involves hands-on maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Service and repair tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans
- Maintain heavy equipment systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
- Inspect ground support vehicles and equipment to determine repair needs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Schedule and conduct periodic preventive maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe repair shop environment
- Track inventory of parts, tools, and supplies
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities in detailed logs
Essential Skills- Minimum of three years’ experience in automotive maintenance, including hydraulic and engine repair
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in vehicle and equipment repair
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical repair manuals
- High-level mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Additional Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience in a related role (preferred)
- On-the-job training provided
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including kneeling or lying under vehicles
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
Work Environment- Approximately 30 of work performed outdoors in varying Colorado weather conditions
- Fast-paced shop environment with a high volume of work
- Requires self-motivation and strong time management skills
- Openings available on second shift, third shift, and weekend shifts
- Must be willing to work either Saturday or Sunday and holidays
- Position includes a four-month contract period followed by a one-month onboarding process

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr.
