We are seeking an experienced F-16 Production Flightline APG Mechanic to join our Aircraft Maintenance Team in Greenville, SC. In this role, you will support new production delivery of the F-16 by performing incoming and outgoing flight operations, follow-on maintenance, and routine troubleshooting. Responsibilities include assisting with launch, recovery, preflight, thru-flight, basic post-flight inspections, ground handling, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
You will perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems and components on the aircraft. Additionally, you will be responsible for the acceptability of electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces, periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings, and crew escape systems. This role requires removing panels and associated hardware to access equipment for repair.
Responsibilities:
- Perform/assist with launch, recovery, preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight inspections.
- Conduct ground handling, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
- Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight controls, and aircraft furnishings.
- Remove panels and hardware to access and repair equipment.
- Ensure aircraft systems meet all operational and safety standards.
- Support aircraft movement, fueling/defueling, and flightline operations.
