Job Title: Aviation Structural Mechanic
Job DescriptionThe role involves performing metal fabrication tasks, including trimming, cutting, drilling, marking, dent removal, and assembly of metallic parts. You will also engage in basic composite and insulation processes such as hand lay-up, curing, trimming, and insulation wrapping. Support for welding fabrication processes will also be required, utilizing basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Precision measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and scales will be part of your daily toolkit.
Responsibilities
- Perform metal fabrication tasks including trimming, cutting, and drilling.
- Engage in basic composite and insulation processes like hand lay-up and curing.
- Support welding fabrication processes.
- Utilize basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and scales for precision tasks.
Essential Skills- Experience in sheet metal, mechanical tasks, and aircraft component repair.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- 2+ years of metal fabrication experience, particularly in sheet metal work and forming.
- Experience with exhaust systems, specifically tubular exhausts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Familiarity with computer systems and blueprint interpretation.

Work Environment
Work the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, typically 40-45 hours per week with some Saturday hours. The service center is clean, temperature-controlled, and located in the northern part of Milwaukee. Initial training will require travel to California.
