You will report directly to our US Gov Voucher Team Manager and have the opportunity to work a hybrid scheduled out of a major Aerospace Technologies locations such as the Phoenix area, Clearwater Florida, Minneapolis, or Puerto Rico.
In this role, you will be on a team of professionals and be responsible for managing the assigned end-to-end process of US Government vouchers. This includes overseeing the preparation, and submission of vouchers, resolving any compliance issues, and ensuring timely payment from the government. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit requirements and provide guidance on compliance matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the assigned contract billings and ensure compliance with regulations for US Government vouchers
- Ensure vouchers are sent out accurately and timely
- Work cross functionally to resolve voucher and audit issues
- Participate in projects to maximize working capital while staying within the regulations

The US Gov Voucher Team is a vital part of Honeywells Defense & Space business, ensuring compliance with regulations for US Government vouchers (billings). As the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in driving the financial performance of our Aerospace business by managing the team responsible for voucher processing and compliance.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities - Analyzing financial data and preparing reports to support decisionmaking
- Monitoring and forecasting financial performance, identifying trends and potential risks
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement financial strategies
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations for cost savings and process improvements
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role
- Familiarity with Government contracting
- Experience in working in SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate Excel skills such as pivot tables, sum, ifs, VLOOKUPs
WE VALUE
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Expertise in regulations applicable to billings/vouchers such as FAR 52.216-7
- Solid analytical skills and strong business acumen
- Superior communications skills (both oral and written)
- Ability to build relationships (internal and USG customer)
- Audit experience or exposure
- Six Sigma certified or trained preferred
