This role covers a broad spectrum of EUC technologies, including desktop virtualization, device management, security, application delivery, and end-user support, ensuring optimal user experience and productivity. Senior EUC Engineers often serve as technical leads, mentoring junior staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital workspaces. Key Responsibilities EUC Architecture and Design: Develop and maintain strategic EUC infrastructure designs, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business needs. Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies and solutions. Technical Implementation and Support: Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of EUC solutions such as VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), application packaging, and endpoint security platforms. Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, diagnosing and resolving incidents related to desktops, laptops, virtual machines, and application delivery. Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline EUC operations, increase efficiency, and reduce manual intervention. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce policies for device and data security, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in security audits and remediation. Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with IT leadership, service desk, infrastructure, and security teams. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing and documentation. Performance Optimization: Monitor EUC environments for performance, capacity, and availability, proactively identifying improvements or upgrades to maximize user satisfaction. Project Management: Lead or participate in EUC-related projects, from requirements gathering through design, implementation, and post-implementation support. Provide status updates and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. End-User Experience: Partner with business units to understand user requirements and deliver solutions that enhance productivity and usability, ensuring minimal disruption during change or migration activities. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, configurations, and procedures for EUC infrastructure and services. Generate regular reports on system health, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred) or corresponding work experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience in end-user computing, desktop engineering, or a related technical discipline, with progressive responsibility. In-depth expertise in Microsoft Windows, including deployment and lifecycle management. Advanced proficiency in VDI platforms (e.g., AWS Workspaces, VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops), and automation/scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python). Strong understanding of endpoint security, patch management, and compliance frameworks. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex EUC issues in large, distributed environments. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document solutions and present to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in a senior or lead engineering role, with evidence of mentoring and technical leadership. Familiarity with software distribution concepts. Comfortable with group policy and active directory/Entra ID. Working knowledge of PC hardware and drivers. Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
