Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Phantom Works team to support development efforts on proprietary programs in Berkeley, MO. We are seeking unique engineering talent to help us develop, integrate, and demonstrate the next generation of technology for the warfighter.
Position Responsibilities:
Support a cross-functional engineering teams in developing systems to meet program commitments, including support of deliverables and customer reviews
Ensure alignment within the Boeing team and with the customer on multiple aspects of the program; identify obstacles and work as a team to remove them
Coordinate effort to ensure full coverage of Statement of Work within program baselines and track progress
Manage program CDRL list and coordinate submittals with Program Management, Business Ops, Engineering and others to keep commitments to our customers
Support planning and execution of program configuration and data management processes
Support program milestone reviews, including development and tailoring of criteria, identifying artifacts, coordinating presentation materials, managing action items, etc.
Support Program Management, Chief Engineer and the engineering team in developing and tracking program baselines and progress; identify trends; develop mitigations and contingency plans as necessary
Support strategic planning execution of Phantom Works systems engineering initiatives, including advocating for program needs
Mentor, coach and advise less experienced engineers in tools, techniques, planning and strategy
Lead interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to plan, design, develop and verify complex systems solutions
Identify and manage programmatic and technical metrics
Serve as a Technical Lead Engineer through guiding and coaching less experienced systems engineers
Operate with integrity, Build trust, and Work as a team at all times
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.
Travel may be required up to 10 of the time; Domestically depending on business needs.
This position requires an active U.S. Top-Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range: $140,250 - $189,750
