As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in managing and driving complex projects within the EOPS domain for PSS. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met with quality and efficiency, contributing to the successful delivery of engineering solutions that support operational excellence.

You will report directly to our Engineering Director and you’ll work out of our Mexico City, Mexico location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company’s success by ensuring the seamless execution of advanced projects, optimizing processes, and fostering collaboration across departments to meet business objectives and customer expectations.

• Lead and manage advanced engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Oversee the complete PSS project portfolio performance, including budget management, revenue tracking, and resource allocation to maximize project performance and financial outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge and management of engineering applications and tools utilized by the engineering team to enhance productivity and project execution.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of project management and visual management strategies to drive operational excellence at the Mexico site.
• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize project delivery.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project success and resolve issues promptly.
   

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 7+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, risk management, and problem-solving techniques
• Technical expertise relevant to engineering projects in the aerospace or power systems domain
