About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, results-driven partnerships professional to join our Recognition & Engagement team. As Partnerships Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a key role in sourcing, pitching to, and onboarding strategic partners that power our global lifestyle partnerships programme.
You’ll be responsible for identifying high-value partnership opportunities, securing buy-in from new partners, and leading relationship development to maximise engagement and value. This is a role for a confident deal-closer and strategic networker who thrives on forging new connections and turning prospects into long-term collaborators.
What youll do:
- Lead a small team of Partnership Officers to support identifying and engaging new partners.
- Identify and pursue opportunities with local and global brands that align with our strategy and employee value proposition.
- Build and manage a proactive pipeline of potential partners across key sectors (retail, lifestyle, wellness, experiences, etc.).
- Create and deliver compelling proposals, confidently presenting partnership opportunities and negotiating win-win terms.
- Oversee the smooth onboarding of new partners, ensuring alignment with programme goals and seamless rollout.
- Develop ongoing engagement plans to ensure long-term mutual value, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Partner with HR, procurement, and campaign teams to raise visibility and boost programme impact.
Who you are:
- A natural connector and persuader who enjoys the thrill of sourcing leads and closing deals.
- Experienced in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles with a strong track record of acquisition and relationship management.
- Strategic and commercially savvy, with the ability to spot value and tailor offers to partner objectives.
- Comfortable with senior-level stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
QualificationTo be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial roles—ideally within HR, rewards, or employee engagement space.
You’ll have the edge if you have:
- Proven experience in generating leads, managing a sales pipeline, and closing B2B partnership deals.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with performance metrics and dashboards.
