The Boeing Company Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Human Resources team is seeking an Experienced Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to join their team in Mesa, AZ.

By partnering with managers, and employees, you will have a critical role in driving business value, a best-in-class employee experience, and effective delivery of HR programs, services, and support in the following key areas: employee engagement, career and employee development, employee performance, leadership coaching and development, integration and partnership across operations, across broader HR team, and HR Centers of Excellence (COE) including Ethics, Labor Relations, Total Rewards, and Legal.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide visible, on the floor HR presence where our hourly employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions
Deploy and administer HR programs, policies, practices, and processes and serve as subject matter expert (e.g., performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.)
Develop innovative solutions to complex problems and implement integrated HR initiatives
Provide consultation and coaching to employees at all levels (management to non-management) on HR practices and processes as well as utilizing conflict resolution techniques to ensure team cohesion
Influence HR priorities, skill and talent discussions, development programs, resource deployment and more
Track and analyze staffing and diversity strategy performance and recommend or implement corrective solutions
Partner with leadership to implement workforce strategies to meet organizational objectives
Support, coordinate, and facilitate new hire orientation
Work closely with HR COEs to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the delivery of programs
Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand the effectiveness of support provided
Support the continuing transformation of HR via HR process implementation and continuous technological improvements in Workday
Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation that are consistent with organizational objectives
Working Conditions:
This role requires consistent presence on the manufacturing floor
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to loud noises, machinery, and manufacturing operations
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in HR or Employee Relations
3+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices, and processes
3+ year of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes
3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
3+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Human Resources certifications (Society of Human resource Management (SHRM) and/or Professional Human Resource (PHR) Certification)
3+ years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG)
Experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders
Experience with collaboration across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product
Experience using verbal, written, and presentation skills; high-impact communication style

Summary pay range: $81,600 – $110,400
