Description:Lockheed Martin Space’s IGNITE, prototyping and rapid development team is seeking an Administrative Assistant.
This is a high visibility position in a fast-paced environment.

Performing a variety of secretarial, administrative, office management, protocol, and site-wide communication duties in support of the Lockheed Martin Space’s IGNITE, prototyping and rapid development team - this is a high visibility position in a rapid paced environment. The position will report directly to the Site Director in Louisville, CO. The chosen candidate will interfacing directly and frequently with Administrative Assistants of other executives at LM Space and across the corporation, and with other members of the IGNITE leadership team. By nature of the position the duties involve high-level internal and external contacts and exposure to sensitive information, necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.

The successful candidate will have or be able to obtain a security clearance for the purpose of supporting classified program activities. Additionally, strong computer and Microsoft Excel skills (especially with pivot tables) are needed to provide updates to financial budgets for review by senior management.

In this role you will communicate with executive, administrative and line management personnel to gather or convey relevant information. Perform all normal secretarial, administrative and clerical duties of a senior administrative assistant including answering phones, filing, scheduling meetings, maintaining schedules on Microsoft Outlook, setting up teleconferences, and organizing domestic and international travel and expense reporting. Responsible for scheduling of conference rooms and facilities used by multiple groups. Protocol duties include supporting visiting executives, organizing catering services, and supporting employee morale events. Ensures all correspondence is accurate, complete, and properly handled. Communication duties include preparing site-wide messages using multiple forms of media. Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Determines priorities of non-routine situations. May require overtime and flexible work hours.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience supporting Director level senior management.

Experienced with computer and internet research skills with competency in Word, Excel (including Pivot Tables), and PowerPoint.

Ability and willingness to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a Research and Development organization.
Experience with LM travel system and SharePoint.
Notary.
Strong organizational skills.
Self-starter with strong initiative.
Strong communication (verbal and written) and phone skills.
Ability to handle a variety of assignments at one time and complete assignments accurately and on time.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management and staff, as well as outside customers and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with other administrative assistants and staff supporting the leadership team of an organization
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $51,100 - $90,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
